Halloween 08

Here are a few pictures from our family Halloween party.

Peppers Puppies

Corry and Traci's dog Pepper just had puppies. They are so new that their eyes aren't even open yet. Of course every one wants to see them, even our little Pomeranian, Pixie.. Here are some pic's we got of Pepper's little family.

First Snow

On October 12th we got our first snow here in Layton, Utah. The kids and dogs wasted no time getting outside to enjoy the fluffy white stuff! Maddy, Ashley, Andrew and Tony had a snow ball building contest.... the results were too close to call, so Andrew and Tony broke Ashley and Maddy's snow ball. :(

As for the dogs, they just wanted to roll around in it. Pixie's fur is so fine and long that when she runs around in the snow, tiny snowballs form on her fur. She doesn't seem to mind.

Sunflowers

These sunflowers were planted by my neighbor -hood birds. See the bird feeder in the middle, kinda to the left, just behind the sunflowers? Yup, filled it up with a variety pack of bird seed. The birds drop more seeds than they eat, and the sunflowers bloomed out of control! I have them scattered in several different spots where the seed could reach the dirt. They smothered out my intended pink and purple flowers, but in the end I thought they were pretty so I kept them. I did however have to pull up the squash plant, don't know what variety it was, but my front lawn was no place for a plant that size to be growing....

Morris Family Reunion 08

August 8th and 9th was our annual family reunion. It was held up Hobble Creek Canyon. It was so great seeing everyone that was able to make it this year. The kids had great time swinging on the rope, acting like beavers and playing volleyball! Summer Fun in Utah!

Bill and Liza came to Utah to visit. We went to Lagoon one day and had a blast! The next day we went to Park City. We rode he Alpine slide, the roller coaster and the zip line. It was a ton of fun. For anyone planning a trip to Park city, the Roller Coaster was the funnest of all the rides. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it, the ride was going too fast and I couldn't get to my camera. (Besides, I was having too much fun to think about my camera.) All in all... We had a GREAT time!

SUMMER VACATION 2008

July of 08 we took Ryan, Andrew and their cousin Tyler to Indianapolis for vacation. Our trip to Indy was only supposed to be a couple of days, but full flights extended our stay. We enjoyed our time in Indy with Grandma and Grandpa Chatwin. Next time, instead of planning two destinations for one trip, we will plan two seperate trips.... lesson learned.
